Home Irrigation System

When people ask if we guarantee our trees, we say: "We guarantee that if you don't water water your trees, they will die. Guaranteed!"

We do our absolute best to keep your Green Giants' roots nourished until the last moment possible, and get them in the ground as quickly as we can, but once under your care, they need consistent watering until their roots are established again.

The best way to ensure your trees' survival is with our simple home irrigation system, available installed with tree planting.

Yes, our package includes adjustable emitters and stakes, making it easy to adapt to uneven terrain or varying soil conditions.
Cost is determined by the size of the job and can range from $500-$1500 or more for very large jobs.
Yes, while it is optimized for Green Giant Arborvitae, it can also be used for other trees, shrubs, or plants requiring consistent irrigation. But we only install in on our planted green giants.
Green Giants can survive and even thrive in a wide variety of soils and moisture conditions. The ideal type is loamy - with lots of organic matter for high nutrition and good drainage. The biggest challenge for Green Giants is poorly drained soil like clay. If rain water pools for a long time after rain, consider amending soil or planting your trees in a raised ridge to keep roots above standing water.
We install the irrigation system for you when we plant your trees - so, yes!
Green Giant Arborvitae is known for its rapid growth rate and can become quite tall when mature.

Typically, a Green Giant Arborvitae can reach:

Height: 50 to 60 feet tall, sometimes taller with optimal conditions and enough time.

Width: 12 to 20 feet wide at maturity.

Keep in mind that while it grows pretty fast (often 3 to 5 feet per year when young), its final size will also depend on factors like soil quality, available space, and overall care. If you're looking to maintain it at a specific height or width, you can trim it; however, it's best to do any major pruning in early spring before the new growth starts.
At this time, our irrigation system is only available to our tree order customers with planting. We install the system when we plant the trees if requested by the customer.
